About the "Foodie Five"

Jessica Trad
The Foreign Correspondent

A lover of anything 'online'! I own a multimedia business called The Media Room, and I get pure joy out of cooking and eating – my thighs are proof of that!  I will be the Foodie Five Files' resident experimental chef. Each month I will select a recipe from a new country or region, taking our readers on a gastronomical journey around the globe.

Jennifer Reid
The Food Fact Chaser

A wife, mum of 2 teens, Blog Reviewer on Sydney's 103.2FM radio and avid blogger at Life's like a Cupcake! and A Brush with Beauty. I'm a career enthusiast, with the CV so far reading: Banker, Beauty Therapist, Makeup Artist and School Teacher!  I love life, and my current creative passions are writing and baking!  I am the Foodie Five Files' official "Food Fact Chaser".  Each month I'll be chasing after unusual, interesting, funny or informative food facts to share with you.

Elizabeth Fenech
The Dessert Chef

I'm a writer who loves to cook. I get excited about red lipstick, travelling and spending time with people who laugh a lot.

On the whole, my kitchen fare tastes like a Hollywood siren but looks like a spotty teenager...an unfortunate detail my "Dessert Safari" is bound to rectify. Each month, I'll test drive a new dessert recipe (and try not to stuff it up).

Bianca Alosi
The Wino

PR by day and avid foodie by night.  I need to know all there is to know about the latest restaurants and bars around town which I blog about at Eat.Drink.Write.
I'm a self-confessed coffee snob, enthusiastic traveller and Foodie Five wine guru. Well, at least I'll try to be.

April Smallwood
Foodie Music Expert

I'm a blogger over at SuperForest.org and sing songs on my YouTube page. I'm excited to discover cuisines and dishes I haven't yet come across in my 27 years – the more exotic and unheard of, the better.

I'll be posting songs that complement the dining experience. Say we tuck into a tasty abbachio alla Romana, I'll post an Italian song, such as Dicono di me by Cesare Cremonini.
